EASY CHOCOLATE WAFERS
BASIC INFORMATION:

INGREDIENTS:
- butter, unsalted (250 g)
- sugar, white or brown (3/4 cup)
- milk (1/2 cup (ca.120 ml))
- cocoa powder (6 tbsp)
- wafers (5-6 pcs.)
- optional: almond flakes (1 tbsp)
DIRECTIONS:
- Filling: melt butter (medium heat), add sugar, cocoa and milk. Mix thoroughly till mixture has no lumps (viscous and shiny).
- Spread hot filling between wafers gluing them together. Repeat using all mixture or leave a little bit for covering the top (see: step 4).
- Press with heavy board (2-3 hours in a room temperature, ca. 1 hour in a fridge). Cut and serve.
OR
- When the filling between wafers is set, spread the top with the remaining mixture (if it’s too thick, you may warm it up a bit). Sprinkle with almond flakes and put into the fridge (2-3 hours). Then cut and serve.
